When our children Leandro (3 months), Maurice (2.5 years) and Tamina (6 years) were that age, we spent a summer on a remote alpine pasture in Engadine CH- without electricity, without internet, but with 90 goats . Every day we milked the goats twice by hand and spent countless hours in the midst of nature.
This time was not only an adventure, but also a valuable lesson . We immersed ourselves deeply in the world of goats and observed their fascinating social behavior and their interaction with the herding dogs. I learned leadership from a completely new perspective: through the eyes of the goats. Their way of creating structures and relationships inspired me to understand leadership in a different, more instinctive way.
